Business Transient Sales Manager

Job Description:

  • Effectively solicit new and current business from various market segments such as Group and Individual Business Travel
  • Responsible for meeting specific weekly & monthly sales revenue goals by growing production of existing special corporate accounts; and implementing and executing programs for special corporate/preferred accounts and corporate transient business.
  • Meet/Exceed sales call goal through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
  • Develop persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Ability to negotiate, sell and make decisions based on established policies and procedures
  • Precise handling of all account details – sales notes, contracts, coordination of information to all departments
  • Handle and respond quickly to incoming sales leads with all information provided
  • Maintain accurate, legible records and files to provide group history, ensure future and quality service and enhance future prospects

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Highly motivated individual with strong initiative
  • Minimum 3- 5 years Hotel Selling (group) experience
  • Excellent English communication skills written and verbal
  • Effective listener
  • Delphi knowledge preferred
  • Computer use knowledge
  • Highly organized and detailed
  • Maintain a professional business appearance at all times
  • Follow all company guidelines
  • A strong team player, enthusiastic and upbeat personality
