Cincinnati Marriott North is seeking dynamic candidates to fill a Front Office Manager position. Primary responsibilities of the Front Office Manager position include:
- Providing exceptional service to guests at all times
- Training, grooming, and coaching guest service employees on high level service expectations
- Maintaining all department check-in/check-out/posting charges/payment collection procedures
- Executing all guest requests and ensuring guest satisfaction of all requests
- Execution of problem resolution and service recovery practices
- Ensuring guest service standards are being applied consistently and that all hotel and department policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
- Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and relate to guests’ concerns and works well in groups.
- Strong interpersonal and employee relation skills are a must with the ability to mentor, train and develop staff.
- Must have a strong knowledge of computers, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc. (Full-service Property Management System and MARSHA experience is a plus!)
- Responsible for all administrative duties of role to include; scheduling, purchasing, and inventory
- Must be able to handle multi-tasking and be goal- and results-oriented.
- Must have strong time management skills to meet deadlines
- Manager on Duty skills
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2-3 years of Hotel Management experience. Full-service hotel experience it a must, but not necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of hotel booking systems and phone etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
