Columbia Sussex Ranked #3 in J.D. Power Guest Satisfaction Benchmark

In the 2025 J.D. Power North America Third-Party Hotel Management Guest Satisfaction Benchmark, Columbia Sussex ranked third place among the largest third-party hotel management companies in North America, scoring 703 on a 1,000-point scale. The annual benchmark measures guest satisfaction across key areas such as guest rooms, staff service, value, check-in/check-out, hotel facilities, food and beverage, and connectivity, based on thousands of actual guest responses. Columbia Sussex’s top-tier ranking reflects the company’s consistent focus on delivering quality hospitality experiences across its portfolio of branded hotels.

Clearing begins for new JW Naples hotel

A six-story JW Marriott hotel is planned on U.S. 41 East between Frederick and Palm streets in East Naples. The hotel is being developed by Columbia Sussex Corp. and its affiliate, Crestview Management LLC, based together in the Kentucky part of Greater Cincinnati. The hotel development company operates more than 40 hotels, including six in Florida.

Sirata Beach Resort completes $25 million renovation, will become a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel

The Sirata Beach Resort, one of the most popular hotels in St. Pete Beach, is in the midst of a significant transformation as it transitions into a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property. The 382-key resort at 5300 Gulf Boulevard, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, has completed the first phase of renovations, a $25 million upgrade to guest rooms, suites, the lobby, and the fitness center at Sirata Beach Resort.
